TOS setting procedure

Check all connections. Bring the radio to channel 20 in AM or FM. Position the commutator of the tosmeter in position CAL or FWS (calibration). Press the microphone pedal to switch to transmission and bring the meter needle to the SET index using the calibration button. Move the switch to the SWR or REF position (reading the SWR value). This value must be very close to 1. Otherwise, you will have to readjust your antenna (by sliding the heater). A value between 1 and 1.8 is acceptable. It is necessary to recalibrate the tos between each antenna adjustment operation.
