HEAVY-DUTY SPARCO HARDWARE KIT FOR PTS SL434 WHEELS

 

1. OVERVIEW

This heavy-duty hardware kit is designed specifically for mounting PTS SL434 wheels, whether for high-performance street use or motorsport applications. It includes 4 high-strength threaded studs and 4 open conical steel lug nuts, engineered to handle the mechanical demands of this wheel type.

 

2. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

 

- 4 REINFORCED THREADED STUDS:

- Thread: M12 x 1.25 mm (fine pitch)
- Length: 62 mm or 68 mm depending on availability
- Material: high-strength hardened steel
- Surface treatment: anti-corrosion black oxide coating
- Design: dual-threaded with a smooth center section for precise press-fit or thread-in installation
- Compatibility: Peugeot hubs / 4x108 bolt pattern

- 4 OPEN CONICAL STEEL LUG NUTS:

- Internal thread: M12 x 1.25 mm
- Style: open-ended (non-capped)
- Seat type: 60° conical (optimized for PTS SL434 wheels)
- Socket size: 19 mm hex (CH19)
- Material: zinc-plated steel with bright finish
- Application: ensures proper centering and secure tightening on conical seats

 

3. COMPATIBILITY

- Vehicles: Peugeot 205 with PTS SL434 wheels
- Wheels: PTS SL434 aluminum
- Not compatible with flat-seat wheels
- Not compatible with M12x1.5 or M14 thread pitches

 

4. INSTALLATION GUIDELINES

- Thoroughly clean the hub and center bore before installation
- Hand-tighten studs only; do not use power tools
- Apply a drop of medium-strength thread locker (e.g., blue Loctite) if threading the studs into the hub
- Do not grease the threads: dry installation ensures correct torque values
- Use a torque wrench: recommended torque for M12x1.25 lug nuts is 90–95 Nm (66–70 lb-ft)
- Tighten in a crisscross pattern to ensure even pressure
- Recheck torque after driving 50 km (30 miles)
