Technical and Graphical Specifications

This custom license plate is meticulously crafted from premium aluminum, measuring the standard 12 x 6 inches, and features a reflective finish. The design closely mirrors the original Ohio license plate graphics, though slight variations may occur due to the bespoke nature of the product. We strive for accuracy, but minor differences are inherent in custom manufacturing.

The personalized registration number, D-Y-N-O-D-N-A, will be embossed using our proprietary Penitentiary Gothic font, a typeface that authentically reflects the style of original state-issued plates. The characters will be stamped in the original deep blue hue, maintaining the classic aesthetic. The plate will include four round mounting holes for easy installation and feature a counter-embossed border (a fine embossing around the edges). To enhance durability and achieve a glossy finish, a transparent lamination layer is applied prior to character embossing.

Please note, this custom plate will not include the rectangular graphics in the lower left or right corners, nor will it feature any validation stickers, differentiating it from standard issued plates.

Production Timeline

Given the unique and intricate nature of this design, the production process is estimated to take approximately 3 weeks from the date of order. This timeframe accounts for the following steps:

1. Design Phase: Reproducing the specific graphics requires meticulous attention to detail.
2. Manufacturing Order: Once the design is finalized, we place an order with our manufacturing partner for the blank aluminum plates, which includes a digital printing process on the laminated sheet.
3. Production: Upon receiving the blank plates, our workshop requires an additional 2 to 4 days to complete the embossing and finishing touches, depending on the current volume of orders.

While we aim to adhere to this schedule, unforeseen circumstances such as production issues or exceptional delays may extend the timeline. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding, as multiple parties are involved in fulfilling your custom order.
