Group N exhaust line for Peugeot 205 GTI 1.6 / 1.9, composed of the central tube and a silencer, all 100% in stainless steel (inox). This exhaust delivers a powerful, singing sound in the revs. Gas evacuation is improved by the composition and shape of the line which increases the vehicle's engine performance.

Adaptation

This line is suitable for all 205 GTI / CTI 1.6 / 1.9 models produced between 1985 and 1993. It attaches directly to the original collector. Installation of the line is easy because it uses all the attachment points of the original exhaust.

Installation

The central tube fits directly onto the collector outlet. It is held under the car by the collector and by ultra-strong welded fixing tabs to hook into the original line fixing locations. The final silencer fits onto the central tube. It is held by a bolt clamp. For installation on 205 GTI or CTI, no cutting or special adaptation measures are necessary: the line is designed to adapt perfectly to its installation from the first time.

Approval and technical control / service

This line is approved for group N sports/rally use. For non-catalyzed 205s before 1992 (year of appearance of the MOT in France), this line passes the anti-pollution test in France without problem. For the 205 from 1993, the test also passes but the tolerance limit is closer. Several of our customers have observed lower pollution with this group N line than with the original worn line.

In collaboration with the greatest tuners, Inoxcar Factory has designed these Group N lines whose shape and tube diameter guarantee maximum engine performance by increasing the power and torque of your car. These group N lines are made of stainless steel for increased reliability. They are easy to assemble because they return to the original diameter at the level of the fixing and the fitting with the collector. Stainless steel provides better sound, weight savings and total resistance to corrosion. Finally, the walls of the line are smooth, which allows better evacuation of exhaust gases and thus an increase in performance. The use of Group N lines is not authorized on public roads. Also, they are not guaranteed. The lines are F.I.A approved. and C.S.A.I. Note that this regulation authorizes a noise limit in Gr. N of 98 ±2 db.
